Next year's average attendance
The Magic are desperate now.
Today on First Take, Stephen A. Smith reported that Dwight has told the Magic that he plans to play elsewhere next season.
This has put the Magic into full blown desperation mode, with the intent being to surround Dwight with some talent before he leaves that would entice him to stay.
They have kicked the tires about Steve Nash, but right now, the Magic’s target is Monta Ellis.
The only problem is that Golden St. wants Dwight in a trade for him.
I’m not sure that Orlando has the trade chips to get Monta otherwise, nor do I think they have the assets to get anyone of the caliber that would convince Dwight to stay there in the offseason. With this being the case, I predict that Dwight will be traded before the deadline, possibly to New Jersey for a package including Brook Lopez.
